Tender chicken cutlets crisped with Parmesan crumbs and smoked paprika in a quick air fryer method.

# What You'll Need:

→ Chicken

01 - 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, halved and pounded to even thickness
02 - ½ teaspoon salt
03 - ½ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
04 - 1 teaspoon garlic powder
05 - 1 teaspoon smoked paprika (optional)

→ Breading

06 - 1 cup all-purpose flour
07 - 2 large eggs, beaten
08 - 1 tablespoon water
09 - 2 cups Italian-seasoned breadcrumbs
10 - 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

→ Finishing

11 - Olive oil cooking spray

# Steps to Follow:

01 - Combine salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and smoked paprika. Season both sides of the chicken pieces evenly.
02 - Place flour in a shallow dish. In a second dish, whisk eggs with water. In a third dish, mix breadcrumbs with grated Parmesan.
03 - Dredge each chicken piece first in flour, shaking off excess, then dip into egg wash, and finally press firmly into breadcrumb mixture to adhere completely.
04 - Set the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) and preheat for 5 minutes.
05 - Spray both sides of breaded chicken lightly with olive oil spray. Arrange in a single layer in the air fryer basket without overlapping. Cook for 6 minutes, flip, then cook for an additional 6 minutes until golden brown and internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
06 - Remove cutlets from the air fryer and let rest for 3 minutes before serving to lock in juices.

# Additional Notes:

01 - Pound chicken breasts to even thickness to ensure uniform cooking and prevent dryness.
