Set oven temperature to 250°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Dice apples into small bite-sized pieces. Optionally, soak in lemon water then dry thoroughly to prevent browning.

Place pretzel snaps in a single layer on the baking sheet. Unwrap and place one caramel square on top of each pretzel.

Bake in preheated oven for 3 to 5 minutes until caramel softens but does not melt completely.

Remove from oven and immediately press one dried apple cube onto each softened caramel to adhere.

If desired, melt chocolate chips with a small amount of coconut oil or milk, then drizzle over bites. Sprinkle with chopped nuts before chocolate sets.
