Crockpot BBQ Beef Ribs (Print Version)

Fall-off-the-bone beef ribs slowly cooked with smoky spices and a sticky BBQ sauce glaze.

# What You'll Need:

→ Meat

01 - 4 pounds bone-in beef back ribs (approximately 9 ribs)

→ Spices and Seasonings

02 - 2 teaspoons smoked paprika
03 - 1 teaspoon garlic powder
04 - 1 teaspoon onion powder
05 - 1½ teaspoons salt
06 - 1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
07 - ¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper

→ Liquids

08 - 1 cup beef broth
09 - 1 cup BBQ sauce, divided

# Steps to Follow:

01 - Pat dry the beef ribs with paper towels, then evenly season all sides with smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper. Cut ribs into smaller sections if necessary to fit the crockpot.
02 - Place seasoned ribs into the crockpot. Pour beef broth over the ribs, then brush half of the BBQ sauce evenly on top.
03 - Cover and cook on low heat for 7 to 8 hours, until the meat is tender and easily falls off the bone.
04 - Preheat the oven broiler to high. Line a baking sheet with foil and transfer ribs onto it. Brush ribs generously with remaining BBQ sauce and broil for 3 to 5 minutes until the sauce caramelizes, forming a sticky glaze.

# Additional Notes:

01 - For reheating, warm ribs in a 375°F oven for 10 to 12 minutes to maintain the caramelized finish instead of microwaving.
