# What You'll Need:

→ Seafood

01 - 1 lb large fresh shrimp, peeled and deveined (tails on)

→ Oils & Acids

02 - 2 tbsp olive oil
03 - 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice

→ Spices & Seasonings

04 - 1 tbsp Cajun seasoning
05 - 1 tsp smoked paprika
06 - 1/2 tsp garlic powder
07 - 1/2 tsp onion powder
08 - 1/2 tsp black pepper
09 - 1/2 tsp salt

# Steps to Follow:

01 - Pat the peeled and deveined shrimp dry with paper towels to ensure better marinade absorption and optimal charring.
02 - In a large bowl, combine shrimp with olive oil, Cajun seasoning, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, salt, and lemon juice. Toss gently to evenly coat. Let rest at room temperature for 15 to 20 minutes to develop flavors.
03 - Heat a gas or charcoal grill to medium-high. Clean and oil the grates thoroughly to prevent sticking.
04 - Thread shrimp onto soaked wooden skewers or place in a grilling basket. Grill for 2 to 3 minutes per side until shrimp turn opaque with pronounced grill marks. Avoid overcooking to maintain tenderness.
05 - Remove shrimp from grill and plate immediately. Garnish with fresh lemon wedges or chopped parsley and serve while hot to enjoy maximum juiciness.

# Additional Notes:

01 - Soak wooden skewers for at least 30 minutes before grilling to prevent burning.
02 - Grill shrimp briefly and flip once to preserve tenderness and achieve ideal char marks.
03 - Remove shrimp from heat as soon as they curl into a loose 'C' shape and turn opaque to prevent toughness.
