Juicy beef patties with buttery mushrooms and creamy Swiss cheese served on toasted brioche buns.

# What You'll Need:

→ Beef Patties

01 - 1 pound ground beef (80/20 ratio)
02 - 1 teaspoon steak seasoning (salt, pepper, garlic, paprika blend)
03 - 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

→ Sautéed Mushrooms

04 - 8 ounces baby bella or white button mushrooms, sliced
05 - 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
06 - 1 tablespoon olive oil
07 - 2 tablespoons beef broth (low sodium)
08 - 1 clove garlic, minced
09 - 1/4 teaspoon freshly cracked black pepper
10 - 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

→ Assembly

11 - 4 slices Swiss cheese
12 - 4 brioche buns
13 - Optional toppings: caramelized onions, burger sauce (mayo, ketchup, chopped pickles)

# Steps to Follow:

01 - Heat butter and olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat until butter melts and bubbles without browning. Add sliced mushrooms and Worcestershire sauce, stirring to coat. Cook undisturbed for 5 minutes to develop a golden crust.
02 - Add beef broth to the skillet and bring to a simmer. Cook uncovered for 8 to 10 minutes until liquid mostly evaporates, stirring occasionally to prevent sticking.
03 - Stir in minced garlic and cracked black pepper. Cook 3 to 4 minutes more until garlic is fragrant and mushrooms have a glossy appearance. Remove from heat and set aside.
04 - Combine ground beef, steak seasoning, and Worcestershire sauce gently by hand until just mixed. Divide into four equal portions and shape into patties with a slight indentation in the center.
05 - Preheat grill to medium-high. Grill patties 4 to 5 minutes per side until a golden crust forms. In the final 1 to 2 minutes, place a slice of Swiss cheese on each patty and close the lid to melt.
06 - Grill buns cut side down for 1 to 2 minutes until lightly crisp. Rest cooked patties 3 to 5 minutes off heat. Place each patty on toasted bun, top with sautéed mushrooms and optional additional toppings.

# Additional Notes:

01 - Mushrooms can be prepared up to 7 days in advance and stored in the refrigerator.
02 - Resting patties before assembly ensures maximum juiciness.
03 - Toast buns to maintain sturdy texture against juicy fillings.
