Turkey Melt Cheddar Bacon (Print Version)

Layers of turkey, sharp cheddar, bacon, and spinach grilled on buttery sourdough for a satisfying meal.

# What You'll Need:

→ Bread

01 - 4 slices sourdough bread

→ Condiments

02 - 2 tablespoons honey mustard
03 - 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened

→ Cheese

04 - 4 slices sharp white cheddar cheese

→ Meat

05 - 8 slices deli turkey
06 - 4 slices cooked bacon

→ Produce

07 - 4 thin slices fresh tomato
08 - 1 cup baby spinach leaves

# Steps to Follow:

01 - Arrange the sourdough slices on a flat surface and spread honey mustard evenly on one side of each slice.
02 - Cut cheddar slices in half and place one half slice on each bread slice over the honey mustard.
03 - On two bread slices, layer deli turkey evenly, add tomato slices and a handful of baby spinach for freshness.
04 - Place cooked bacon over the cheese on the remaining two bread slices, then close each sandwich by pressing the bacon side onto the turkey side, enclosing fillings within the cheese.
05 - Spread softened butter on the outside of each sandwich. Heat a skillet over medium heat and grill sandwiches, flipping once, until the bread is golden and cheese is melted, about 4-6 minutes per side.

# Additional Notes:

01 - Allow skillet to fully preheat and cook over medium heat to melt cheese without burning bread.
02 - For best flavor, slice cheese fresh or request deli slicing.
03 - Store leftovers wrapped in foil in refrigerator up to 1 day; reheat in skillet to restore crispness.
