Air Fryer Apple Bombs (Print Version)

Quick, crispy apple-filled dough bites air-fried and coated with cinnamon sugar for a sweet treat.

# What You'll Need:

→ Dough

01 - 20 refrigerated biscuits (Pillsbury country style, or 16 layers if using Grand biscuits)

→ Filling

02 - Approximately 20 tablespoons apple pie filling, chopped into smaller pieces

→ Coating

03 - 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
04 - 3 tablespoons granulated sugar
05 - 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

# Steps to Follow:

01 - Remove biscuits from cans and flatten each individually to a 4-inch diameter circle using a rolling pin. For Grand biscuits, separate into layers before flattening.
02 - Place 1 tablespoon of chopped apple pie filling in the center of each dough circle. Fold dough edges over filling and pinch firmly to seal, shaping each into a ball.
03 - Place assembled bombs in the air fryer basket, spacing them about 1 inch apart to prevent sticking. Cook in batches if necessary.
04 - Set air fryer to 380°F and cook for 5 to 6 minutes or until the dough turns golden brown and crisp.
05 - While bombs cook, combine granulated sugar and cinnamon in a bowl to prepare the coating.
06 - Transfer cooked bombs to a cooling rack. While still warm, dip each into melted butter, then roll thoroughly in cinnamon sugar mixture. Return to rack to set.
07 - Serve warm as is or accompanied by a scoop of vanilla ice cream for enhanced indulgence.

# Additional Notes:

01 - For best results, flatten biscuits evenly to ensure uniform cooking. Using chilled apple pie filling makes handling easier.
