Garlic Butter Steak Bites (Print Version)

Juicy steak bites and crispy potatoes tossed in a silky garlic butter sauce with herbs and fresh parsley.

# What You'll Need:

→ Beef

01 - 1 lb well-marbled sirloin steak, cut into 1-inch bite-sized pieces

→ Vegetables

02 - 1 lb baby potatoes, halved or quartered
03 - 4 cloves garlic, minced
04 - 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped

→ Fats and Oils

05 - 3 tbsp unsalted butter, divided
06 - 1 tbsp olive oil

→ Herbs and Spices

07 - 1/2 tsp dried rosemary
08 - 1/2 tsp dried thyme
09 - Salt, to taste
10 - Freshly ground black pepper, to taste

# Steps to Follow:

01 - Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Add 1 tablespoon butter and the olive oil. Once melted, add the halved baby potatoes. Season with salt, pepper, rosemary, and thyme. Cook undisturbed for several minutes, stirring occasionally, until potatoes develop a golden, crispy crust and become fork-tender, about 10–12 minutes. Transfer potatoes to a warm plate.
02 - In the same skillet, add 1 tablespoon butter. Arrange the steak bites in a single layer, working in batches if necessary. Season with salt and pepper. Sear for 2 to 3 minutes per side until a brown crust forms and desired doneness is reached. Remove from pan and keep warm with potatoes.
03 - Reduce heat to low and add remaining 1 tablespoon butter to the skillet. Stir in minced garlic and cook, stirring constantly, until the garlic is fragrant and lightly golden, about 1 minute.
04 - Return steak bites and potatoes to the skillet. Toss gently to coat with garlic butter sauce evenly. Remove from heat, sprinkle with chopped fresh parsley, and serve immediately warm.

# Additional Notes:

01 - Pat potatoes dry before cooking to achieve maximum crispiness. Use a heavy-bottomed skillet, such as cast iron, for best searing results.
